Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread pain, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and cognitive difficulties often referred to as "fibro fog." The exact cause is unknown, but it may involve abnormal pain processing in the brain and is often triggered by physical trauma, stress, or infections. While there is no cure, treatments such as physical therapy, medications, and stress management techniques can alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life. Exercise and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule are also recommended.
