Uterine Fibrosis
Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths in or around the uterus, commonly occurring during a woman’s reproductive years. While many women experience no symptoms, fibroids can cause heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and fertility issues. Their cause remains unclear, but hormonal and genetic factors play a role. Treatment ranges from watchful waiting for asymptomatic cases to medications, minimally invasive procedures, or surgery for severe cases. Advances in treatment continue to offer women more options for managing fibroids.
